What stays on your device

Everything you log, your details, your supervisors, your targets and your notes, is written to your browser's own local storage under the key practicumledger.ledger.v1. There is no server side to this site: it is a set of static files. Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere.

That means your log belongs to one browser on one device. It does not follow you to a phone, it is not backed up by us, and nobody else can read it. Clearing site data for this site removes it permanently. Export a backup from the log page to keep a copy, and add a passphrase if you want the file itself locked.

Never enter anything that identifies a client. Client codes and notes are for your own private labels, not names, dates of birth or health details, as you would keep them out of any record you might share with a supervisor.

Exports are made on your device too

CSV files, backups and the printed summary are all built inside this page and handed to you directly. They are never uploaded, stored or seen by us.

No accounts

There is no sign up, no sign in, no email capture and no password to lose.

What is collected

No account, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics of what you log. Standard web server logs kept by the static host may record the request for a page, its time, and a network address, in the ordinary way any web server records a request.

Page counts

This site counts page visits through Cloudflare. The count sets no cookie, it cannot follow you from here to another site, and nothing you enter is part of it. It records that a page was opened, not what you logged.

Purchases and access checks

If paid features are offered, purchases are handled by RevenueCat and Stripe, who receive what a checkout needs. With paid features switched on, loading the log, totals, Premium or restore page also checks your access with RevenueCat, before and without any purchase, using an anonymous id created in this browser. That check sends the anonymous id and what any web request carries, such as a network address, and never your name, your program or anything in your practicum log.

Cookies

Practicum Ledger sets no cookies of its own and carries no advertising or cross site tracking scripts.

Children

The site is a professional record keeping aid and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will appear on this page.

Questions about privacy go to socialreminderinfo@gmail.com. Since nothing is stored on a server, most requests are answered by telling you which local storage key to clear.
