Terms of use
The terms that apply when you use Practicum Ledger, and the limits of what a record keeping helper can be relied on for.
What this is
Practicum Ledger is a helper for students keeping their own record of practicum hours. It adds up the entries you make, in categories summarised in its own words from published guidance. It is not an official record, it is not the application, and it does not decide whether any activity or hour counts. Your program and your director of clinical training do.
The application and the published guidance
The official application is the only record that counts, and you type your totals into it yourself. The printed summary is a plain table of your own numbers, not a form. Guidance changes; where anything here disagrees with the current published documents, the documents govern. Practicum Ledger is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to APPIC, ASHA, any match service, any application portal, or any other association or board.
Your records
Anything the site remembers is stored by your own browser on your own device. It can be cleared by you at any time, cannot be recovered by us, and does not follow you to another device. Keep backups. Never put information that identifies a client into a client code or a note.
What is free
The categories page, your totals, CSV export, and export and import of your records are free to use with no account and stay that way. When billing is enabled, a paid tier sits on top of that and adds a larger log and conveniences. Nothing that adds up your hours, or that gets your own records out, is moved behind a payment.
Refunds
Not happy with a purchase? Email socialreminderinfo@gmail.com within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:
- the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
- your access code, shown on the Premium page on the browser you purchased from
- roughly when you purchased, and which plan (yearly or lifetime)
- the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy
That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have.
Acceptable use
Use the site to keep and check your own records. Do not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, and do not present its output as an official document.
Warranty and liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Practicum Ledger is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the site or from reliance on anything on it, including hours that are not accepted. A total here is a calculation on the numbers you typed, not advice about your eligibility.
